Clan History: The Rauga clan is an ancient clan formerly of konoha which was forced to leave as their clan bloodline required a price that the leaf were unwilling to pay. each child of the clan must undergo the five elements trial to unlock their kekai Genkai, and must bedone by the age of 4 years. Sadly the ritual has a 85% death rate. For this reason the council of Konoha forbid the practice. The rauga, unwilling to accept this left the leaf and became a nomadic clan, loyal to noone but themselfs. they still continue their ritual and the death rate has now jumped to 90% due to lack of poper medical facilities. as such the clan has slowly started to break apart, with some of the clan searching for a new way to unlock their clan bloodline. many have also become teachers or mercenaries, some have joined other villages.

Personality:Rai is a very enigmatic individual. Keeping his past and life to himself he stays in the background, rarely spekaing or joining a conversation. although he may seem aloof or unintrested, it is more that he feels no need to constatnyl impose his opinion or presence and believes a ninja should rarely be noticed.

History/Background Story: rai is one of the few Rauga to leave both the clan and all ties behind, Like all Rauga, rai was raised and underwent the clans traditional ritual... he was the only survivor out of the seventeen who underwent it. Raised and taught each elemental jutsu he could master, rai soon had a large number of jutsu to his name, unkown at the time.
Rai also trained heavily in taijutsu, to allow him to fight even after he used his chakra reerves up with his jutsu arsenal. During his years as a rauga member he was trained heavily, quickly becoming somewhat of a prodigy amoung the clna, learning and mastering jutsu at an impressive rate. even more impressive was his knowladge of teh various major clans and famous ninja, as rai learned everythignhe could about those who would one day be his enemy or his ally.
In an unusual move, rai left the clans safety to strike out on his own, not for another village but for a life onthe roads, travelling from one place to the next. Rai chose this to learn how to use his jutsu in a real fight, and quickly learned that although he was exceptianl amoung the clan he was average in the real world. constantly mistaken for a missing nin due to the clans hitai design, rai quickly advanced his skills, becoming more and more the ninja he wanted to become.
rai has expanded his jsutsu, selling his services to villages and companys for money, or jutsu or safety. he ahs even taught in some villages although only briefly.
currently Rai is searching for something new to challenge him.
